People who have recently experienced slavery or human trafficking are often in crisis in several areas of their lives. They may be homeless, in immigration detention or prison, living in a shelter, hospitalised or living with others in the community.

The Youth Advocates initiative is run in coordination with the Outreach and Advocacy division of Anti-Slavery Australia under the supervision of Kate Fitzgerald (Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator).
